Tell me what you want and what you can spend. I find you a matching apartment from developers I have checked myself, guide you through the purchase, and stay with you until the title is in your name.
The short form below. I call you on WhatsApp at a time that suits you, in Tigrinya or English, and we go through what you want in detail.
If you can travel, I arrange the visits. If you cannot, I or your own representative views the apartment on a live video call with you.
I explain the sale agreement, the payment schedule and the transfer costs, and recommend an independent lawyer if you need one. I remain your contact until you have the keys and the title.
Before a developer appears on my list, I check:
I am Aklilu Habtemichael, founder and host of Gzena TV. I have lived in Kampala for over 15 years, I run businesses here, and I have spent years helping Eritreans understand how business and investment work in Uganda. I know the developers, the lawyers, the land office and the mistakes people make when they buy from far away. I built this service because too many of our people have been cheated, and it does not have to be that way.
Yes. Non-citizens can own apartments under a condominium title, and can hold land on a long lease. I explain which type of title each apartment comes with before you decide.
Before I show you any apartment, a title search has been done at the Land Registry on the land it stands on, and the developer's company and approvals have been checked. You also get an independent lawyer's review before you sign.
Most developers offer payment plans, often a deposit followed by monthly or quarterly instalments while the building is completed. I show you the plan for each apartment on the shortlist.
